Success in anything comes from finding an opportunity to solve a problem for someone who’s willing to “pay” you for the solution. They have to perceive your solution as better than any other solution, and be able to pay you enough to cover the cost of your delivery.
“The entrepreneurial process is a journey with a purpose, identifying opportunities in specific areas where problems need solving,” observed Associate Professor of Management Dr. Pauline Assenza, coordinator of the WCSU Ancell School of Business small business entrepreneurship concentration in the management major.
The place to be!
Welcome to the new Website for ERIC@THEGARAGE. E.R.I.C. is the center for Entrepreneurship, Research, Innovation, and Creativity, and The Garage, its physical location for the center on the ground floor of the classroom building at the Westside Campus of Western Connecticut State University, was created to foster entrepreneurship and innovation both on campus and in the surrounding greater Danbury community. The vision is for E.R.I.C. to serve as a catalyst and incubator for new business ventures, with WCSU as a regional hub for entrepreneurial innovation. This vision is a collaborative one, providing opportunities for partners and mentors from the area to link with students and faculty from all academic disciplines at the university.
